Experience Greece like never before.

I discovered Poros, Greece, on a sailing trip in the fall of 2023 and fell in love instantly. It’s not a big tourist trap or Americanized island—it’s truly, deeply Greek. Just about an hour from Athens and a short hop from the Peloponnese, Poros offers the best of both worlds: accessibility and authenticity. With its proximity to natural wonders, ancient sites, and local traditions, it’s the kind of place where you can truly settle in. I choose to visit during the shoulder seasons when tourism slows down, allowing for a more genuine experience of Greek life, rhythm, and hospitality.

At the heart of this experience is my cooking soul sister and chef, Katerina Sakelliou. Her roots run deep on Poros, and her blend of warmth, tradition, and humor is the perfect counterpoint to my passion for nourishment, longevity, and fun. Together, we’ve crafted a rich experience filled with hands-on cooking, deep dives into Greek history and culture, and new ways to connect to your food, your body, and your life.

If you’ve ever dreamed of living the Mediterranean lifestyle—not just tasting it—this is your chance. Retreats are offered on Poros and a stones throw away on the mainland where you can stay on the Odyssey Eco Farm surrounded by olive trees for a deeper Mediterranean experience. Come join us on for an unforgettable time. We can’t wait to welcome you.

The Island of Poros & The Peloponnese

Poros, nestled in the Saronic Gulf, is a place that instantly feels like home. Its blend of natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture embodies the true Mediterranean lifestyle—where life is savored slowly, surrounded by stunning scenery and delicious food. From the ancient Temple of Poseidon to the neoclassical charm of Poros Town, every corner tells a story, whether from the Mycenaean era or the Greek War of Independence.

Just a short ferry ride away, the Peloponnese offers even more. Ancient landmarks like Epidaurus and Mycenae, along with the historic town of Nafplio, bring Greek mythology and history to life. With its rugged landscapes and olive groves, it’s the perfect complement to the serene yet vibrant lifestyle of Poros.

Together, Poros and the Peloponnese offer a journey into the heart of the Mediterranean—a way of living that celebrates history, culture, and the simple joy of living every moment fully.

Accommodations are nestled among olive, lemon, and orange trees, and include chalets, a seaside cottage with bathrooms and Safari Tents with en suite bathrooms. For a more rugged experience you may choose a traditional bell tent with and outdoor shower- I stayed in on recently and it was beyond amazing. Guests can relax in private outdoor areas furnished with chairs and hammocks, enjoying the soothing sounds of the nearby sea.

The farm features shared outdoor living spaces, including a communal kitchen and dining area where weekly Greek barbecues are held, offering fresh local produce and unlimited wine, fostering a sense of community and introducing guests to the Greek concept of "Kefi." Additional amenities include a swimming pool shaded by olive trees and a secluded beach with a boat dock and deck chairs, providing stunning views of Poros Island. Odyssey Organic Farm is an ideal destination for environmentally conscious travelers seeking an authentic Greek experience and deeper connection to the land without sacrificing comfort.
